You will demand a beautifully appointed bridal car graced with the ambience and style of a traditional wedding carriage, along with a friendly but discreet driver. You will want to ensure the right number and quality of cars for the bridesmaids and family members. Above all, you will expect total reliability and immaculate time-keeping. Buchanan's have the cars, the drivers, the experience and the flexibility to make your special day perfect - and our service begins on the occasion that you first come to see us to discuss your preferences and special requirements. We will give you a guided tour of the actual cars we propose to use - and, at a time convenient to you, we will give you a special 'dress rehearsal', taking you to and from your home to the wedding venue in the car chosen for your big day.

 

On the day itself … Your Buchanan's driver will arrive at your home around 45 minutes before time, to give you peace of mind. Your chauffeur will position the car to face the direction you will be travelling and will have the rear door open next to the kerb side. When you are comfortable, he will let the photographer take photographs of yourself and your family. He will then escort your father or whoever is giving you away to the other side of the car. Our driver will take you to your chosen venue via the route of your choice and will only switch to an alternative route in the event of traffic problems. But before we change any little detail, we will seek your approval first. At the venue, the driver will check with the chief usher that everything is ready and you are ready to be received. If there is a delay, he will drive around for a short while to give everybody a few extra minutes. Once everything and everybody is in place to receive you, your driver will check that you are comfortable, stop the car and escort you and your party to the entrance for photographs. After the service is over, your driver will take you and your new husband to your reception venue along a slightly longer route, to allow your guests to arrive at the reception before you. Should you wish, our drivers will be on hand to take you to your chosen hotel or to airport or train station for your honeymoon departure. Attention to detail is everything, and we will provide free ribbons (white or coloured), a rear window floral display and your selection of music at no extra cost.
